as a creative, I loove a challenge so before I even start anything new I make it super challenging for myself so I immediately get overwhelmed at never start but feel exhausted like I've done the thing and – Oh.

fucking up the paper has been the best decision I've made with this sketchbook. I've since used it much more freely again! I used to have no problems filling sketchbooks (I filled over 40) but for some reason last year I got it into my head that I needed to be more neat or sth which is bs #art

on a more positive note, I'm really feeling inspired to make some of my own colouring pages (I'll add that to my never-shortening list of things I want to make and offer for download 😅) maybe I'll start with some simple, small designs in my free time!

back to working on our game after a much needed christmas break! Actually had to move my desk setup out of the way for some construction so I couldn’t work even by accident ;) that was good as sometimes I‘m bad at taking proper breaks 🌿 but now it’s back in its place which is also good!! 💜

Lorwyn Eclipsed was the first MtG set where I served as a lead art director. That meant getting to pitch what these special edition cards would look like, and bring on so many new artists from my picture book days!

maybe in 2026 I'll try to find a creature animator with AAA experience who can join me on a deep dive to figure out why horse leg IK goes wrong with such consistency. Do I have any friends of friends who work at AAA studios that have made games with horses and could get me a relevant interviewee? 😇
