I also really hate the use of the word dumb to mean stupid or silly. It's origin is that you are unable to speak, which is usually due to some sort of disability. It's absolutely right to call out the use of ableist or discriminatory language.

Many pundits today are pushing the line that everyone who protests the genocide in Gaza is basically either antisemitic or tolerant of antisemitism. But isn't that precisely the conflation of the actions of the Israeli gov't with all Jewish people, which is at the heart of this wave of antisemitism?

There is nothing more disgusting than someone who has benefited from immigration policies trying to deny others those same rights.

Assume this means that Badenoch will go back to Nigeria as she was born in the UK by chance after her mother travelled here for medical treatment (while heavily pregnant), and said she's "to all intents and purposes a first-generation immigrant" who came here age 16 to escape political turmoil.
