Everyone deals with grief differently, but i do kinda wish there was a handy dandy guide like:
• Cry twice, once in the morning, once before bed, as needed
• Nap frequently for the first week, then reduce to every other day
• Take one cup tea at least 4 times daily
• Bake cookies for friends

Cat cafe visit today. They have 20 adoptable kittens and boy howdy with Nori gone I'm REALLY learning how badly I need a cat in my vicinity.
Even if we don't find someone to adopt today, at least I'll have some kitty time.

Woke up to the fuzzboy in my face, purring loudly and demanding affection. Just like any other morning.
He absolutely demolished his breakfast, and is happily curled up in his favorite spot on the back of the couch.
If the vet hadn't told us he had cancer yesterday- you wouldn't suspect a thing.😢
