Good problem in SF - completely full bike racks on Valencia Street as usual.
Hard to tell from the picture but I counted 12 bikes. If I assume 2 people per car on an average weekend, that’s 6 parking spaces freed up and more business for local businesses.

@dashkaslater.bsky.social I read it in hard copy in the Chron mag so long ago that “Seated While Reading Newspaper, Standing While Reading Newspaper, Pretending To Read Newspaper While Eavesdropping On Nearby Conversation” were all realistic bus riding postures.
