Balled all the cookie dough just to realize I missed 2 sticks of the 4 sticks of butter for the recipe. I thought the dough was a little dry... Then had a brief moment where I was going to toss them in the oven like that just to see. Luckily the cookie lover in me won and I mixed in the remaining.

I drive this route every workday but last night was the first time I noticed the building to the left reflects the Capitol building in its windowed facade. A pedestrian was crossing so I normally dont stop in this spot, possible that's why I hadn't seen it prior.
