"Hey trans couple here. Looking for aid paying our rent. We're a couple with a service dog. We escaped bigoted violence. Looking to get our roots set stable so we may continue being able to help others by doing mutual aid to queer unhoused people and dedicate time to our passion of helping."

After a few months, we relocated a trans couple who were receiving high levels of death threats and repeated violence to a place of their own!

Tho they are away from immediate danger, they still face job discrimination and need help w the rest of rent.

I had an FBI agent once say to me (while misgendering me) “I want her arrested” because I told a family they could ask for a lawyer and not answer any further questions.

It’s no accident that this narrative is being widely disseminated at this point. As I’ve said before, our fearing one another serves authoritarian interests by keeping us divided and unable to unite to challenge the illegitimacy of authoritarian abuses of power.

I just organized a lunch between queer folks at my work, and it went REALLY WELL!!!!!!!! I had an agenda and points of unity prepared, but made sure that if folks wanted we could keep it low key. But they were all game!!! Next meeting is in a month. I did it!!!!!! This

Awee! We cannot see the extent of change made until its happening. We csnt predict the future, and any one of our organizing efforts can lead to something much larger even after our own lives have been lived.

His name is Anthony. He once advocated for more cops at a City Council meeting because Block by Block Ambassadors stared and watched as a trans woman was being harrassed. He stated he equiped her w bear mace, and the guy fled. So his preference is more cops for some reason.
