59 years ago today - On the 21st of October 1966, the Aberfan disaster occurred.

116 children and 28 adults were killed as a coal tip landslide engulfed Pantglas School and other buildings.

It’s a scar that all Welsh people carry with them.

Never forget the price of coal.
