BOM website has been showing this rain radar info for Canberra for hours. With severe weather warnings here, it would be useful to track the rain. Here's a thought - we need an updated BOM website.

25 November is International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Albanese govt has announced an additional $41.8m for the hotline 1800Respect. This helps.

But men need to actively campaign to end violence against women. That's the key. #auspol

Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

We're heading into (potentially) cranky season. Christmas is in sight and - for reasons that elude me - short tempers abound. Slow it all down. Keep expectations in check. Don't speed on the roads. Go gently. Reduce alcohol. Drink water. Sleep. Deep breaths. Smile. No stress. It will all be ok. 🎄

Some vaccines like COVID and flu don’t stop completely stop infection.

But they do reduce the risk of getting infected and greatly reduce severe illness risk.

They are still worth getting.

Since they are not 100% effective it’s also wise to add another layer of protection by wearing a mask.

If you're a government agency and would like your website redesigned, let me know. There will be a charge of $90million - not $95million - and guess what else? Business analysis, stakeholder requirements, user testing and all the other normal elements will be included! IKR? What a bargain. #auspol

I don't know why the "Piggy" thing is bothering me so much. It's one more unforgivable thing in a list of 20,000 unforgivable things, but I've been mad about it for like 12 straight hours.
