Semi-ruined walls above and wooden boards below. Not a fan of heights but forced myself up and up, on a hunch that there would be good photo opportunities at the top! Deliberately didn't look down at the boards underneath my feet in another hunch the drop below was visible...it was...I looked up from underneath!

Tangle of root & rock. Even now this hedge has long since bolted & turned into full size trees - less effective for containing livestock - it still exemplifies the beauty natural materials + human craft + wild plants + a truly incredible amount of rain can create. #Devon
Old hedge, Devon - the moss-covered stone bank riven with twisting tree roots. Sunken in places. The shrubs have bolted into full height trees, shading the lane.
