Ti-Puss's 4-month old daughter, Minou, was absorbed into Arunachala last night. Attacked by a group of street dogs at 11.15 pm, she is now no more. 💫 A domestic tabby cat with a distinctive tortoiseshell dark brown/black striped coat pattern, she lies gently curled up on the surface of fine sand, her paws tucked and tail wrapped around her body.

The close-up shows a frontal view of a section of an old valve radio. The scale, illuminated with warm light and displaying its extensive station listings, is visible. On the right, you can see the ivory-coloured knob used to search for stations. In the lower left of the image, the equally ivory-coloured buttons of the old radio can be seen, which are used to select the frequency range. This radio was capable of receiving shortwave, longwave, medium wave, and ultra-shortwave frequencies. It is also apparent that I urgently need to dust the radio again. In some parts of Germany, FM broadcasting is now being phased out in favour of DAB+ and digital distribution channels such as streaming. With digital devices, I miss the charm and unique sound of the old valve radios.

By a narrow, slow-flowing river that runs diagonally across the lower half of the image, there stands a solitary little tree. In February, without its leaves, it appears quite fragile and somewhat forlorn. The blue sky and white clouds are reflected in the smooth water of the river, and the small tree also has a clear reflection. In the upper half of the image, you can see the landscape behind the tree: a green field bordered at the back by the edge of a forest.
