After a lot of hard work by @merilliza.bsky.social, the cover for The Fox's Crown is finally complete! All that remains now is to add the title and book blurb, but I wanted to show off the artwork by itself first.

Expect more news about the release date soon, but for now, enjoy the art!

Honestly a great game and so similar to real Dungeons and Dragons that I'm seriously impressed at the developers. Definitely worth a try if you have any spare time

Haha yeah thats smart, most people only go through life reacting rather than planning. It's an age old question of how do you get people prepared for something if they've never experienced it themselves.

Well. Even if ordinary people do their best, it won't compare to the excesses of the super-rich. Yoi show restraint by not buying a car, and your money goes to a billionaires second yacht. Self restraint is good but not a systemic solution.

As for the Ankuan Trilogy, each book is very different but its a political drama set in a fantasy world with sci-fi elements. You have an Empire on the verge of collapse, and several broken families that try to save it. The funnest part of writing was definitely the exotic locations though!

And as for the Fox's Crown, I think I was very lucky with my cover artist. There's definitely a notable difference between that and more commercial cover artists.

Ah thats a shame. Still, Tidal pays its artists better. Don't think there are much better alternatives. Tidal is just so similar to Spotify it's easiest to transition to.

Now onto the first draft of The Fox's Crown cover art by @merilliza.bsky.social. We went for a combination of thumbnails B and D, so we have the heroic stance but also the cool lanterns on the ship. Expect a lot more colors, but the composition probably won't change much for the final version.
