Fuck I hate DCC packages.
All night absolutely fucking wasted on my hobby project just trying to add _one fucking bone_ to my skeleton. One fucking bone. Why is this still so difficult in 2025? Why must these packages just utterly fuck my data? This should be a five minute job

Computer programming seemed like my calling, so went to uni for it.
There was an actual games course at my uni and that meant that even though I wasn't on that course, I had some optional PlayStation Net Yaroze classes in fourth year. Fell in love with it and knew I wanted to work in games.

Hats off to the folks who have been developing the in-engine animation tools in Unreal.
I have been using them to repurpose anims from an asset pack with low-poly art style weapons, to one with no anims but cool looking sci-fi weapons, and it's such a smooth process

Migrated my Lyra based Unreal 5 FPS hobby project over to GameplayCameras this weekend.
Big improvement in how quick it is to build a new camera mode. The death cam just uses a built-in node to frame some of the ragdoll's bones. Less than a minute of effort.

Welp, managed to fix this by manually using the command line to move each subfolder of Engine into a new changelist and submitting one by one.
Now to find out if my new release stream actually builds or if I messed this up :D
