I usually don’t want to post about Poilievre anymore (he should be forgotten and replaced by a serious politician… Conservatives, get on it please!) but this shit about “socialism” needs to be cut off quick because that’s the kind of lies that get us further down the same path as the US.
Pierre Poilievre channels his inner JD Vance
Owning the libs is no way to actually govern a country, as Americans keep finding out with each passing day. That's not about to stop Pierre Poilievre from constantly trying to do it.

There’s a bear and some coyotes around at this time of year, when we head out just before sunset, but I have loud discussions with the dog about the best optional GURPS rules and supplements, and all the animals run into the woods. GURPS and safety first!
And after they lose half their SAN and you fast forward the campaign to the latter chapters…
I didn’t expect the carcinisation theory to also apply to media arts
Of course I was reading the French translations that were published a bit later… I’m a little bit younger than you, you see 😝
That’s my childhood too but the one book that I was obsessed with was “House of Hell”! I blame it for later turning me to CoC and Delta Green!
Yeah it’s the reprint by Steve Jackson (the other one 😛)
As far as I can tell it’s got all the original artwork yeah! But I haven’t double checked everything, I just quickly flipped through only so far
Not yet... but I'm slowly working on editing our notes and house rules into something publicly readable. It will come out eventually.
AND THEY SHOULD KEEP SUPPORTING THE LINE WITH MORE SUPPLEMENTS INSTEAD OF DOING THIS OBVIOUS MONEY GRAB!!!
I’d like to try it yes but in the meantime I have my own “RuneQuest: Lunar Edition” which is a better, more modern, and one might say more illuminated and Chaotic version of the rules and I like it 😝
Oh it’s definitely not quick but I think a less experienced gamer would have taken even longer! With my players it indeed took over an hour or more. Way too long, IMO, and generally RQG and its character sheet is too complicated anyway
I don't mind new editions in general, but this time around I did do a double take and went on RPGGeek to check how long ago the previous edition had been released...

Lessons for the Traveller Referee 2

Don't worry about thousands of worlds. Only worry about one - the one the travellers are on. If it has published stuff already, use that if you want. If you don't, what does the UWP tell you? Therein lies the magic of Traveller.

Reprints of some old-school Fighting Fantasy books have showed up on my doorstep! Rejoice! And don’t forget to keep your finger at the previous chapter!
Yes, all that thread.
Plus, hardware transitions. I’ve seen several studios abandon their custom engine when faced with the cost of upgrading it to new consoles.
So many folks think that big studios are moving to Unreal because Unreal is filled with amazing features.

And those features are nice, yeah. But that’s reason #2

Reason #1 is that there is a huge Unreal community. Because this results in two important things:
1. Easy hiring
2. Problem solving.
I hear it’s going to be a Christmas musical starring Chris Pratt
I’m sure there might be one or two vaguely cool things done that way, but that’s not a way to judge a process or a tool — some people have made cool looking art with Excel, that doesn’t mean it’s a good way to make art

Spider-Man on the Genesis has the best continue screen I've ever seen in a video game.

My boss: so how's our fourth quarter looking?

Me, the sales manager at the company that makes inflatable frog suits: well, you're never going to believe this, but

I feel like if the people running the study never even contemplated the possibility of the most obvious result, the study probably underestimates how bad it actually is
"But when the team looked at the employees’ actual work output, they found that the developers had completed tasks 20% slower when using AI than when working without it. Researchers were stunned. “No one expected that outcome. We didn’t even really consider a slowdown as a possibility.”

I’ll watch a couple more then! Thanks
