I did have a sacrificial ‘pub bike’ (hybrid I got off Facebook for £40 that I wouldn’t be upset if it got nicked) but the back wheel buckled and I gave it away.

When I said three bikes I meant I have a gravel bike, a mountain bike and the Brompton. Didn’t want you thinking I had 3 Bromptons 😁 (that would be excessive)

For better or for worse, high stakes drama attracts more eyeballs. Have you ever applied to be a contestant on these sort of shows? If you're an 'average' normal person you instantly get filtered out & rejected.
The show's producers need participants who will cause drama, not be good at the task

Sega Menacer Light gun for me. Only because I did the graphics for a couple of games for it. Nintendo's equivalent light gun would be a close 2nd but the SNES had twice as many colour levels as the Genesis/Megadrive so the bright graphics you needed for the light gun tech to work, wasn't 'as' ugly

Ta for your replies. I'm more upset with the hype the AI companies have spewed than the tech itself. They've baked this over-confidence into it that is infuriating. When I show the AI an error it is not being returned 'back to base' to be folded into the next training scrape. Such a waste of energy.
