Instantly likable, no babes; instantly uncomfortable.

Exactly. And I think it’s important for the person to figure out what works for them even if it breaks all the rules. I love my piercer because when I first went to her she was like do what ever you’ve done before because your existing piercings are fantastic. Didn’t even give me care instructions 😆

100%. I swear some of these piercing professionals are just saying what they need to to not take the blame for a rejection.

They say don’t make your own sea salt solution for cleaning, and yet this is the one rule I will gleefully break every time. I don’t measure exact and I use tap water. And when I say this solution is the only thing that really solidifies the healing for me I’m not kidding. I’ve tried the other ways.

They say not to clean off the secretions that crust up around the opening too much because it can agitate the skin and open it up to bacteria and yet I do it daily.

They say don’t put a hoop in before 1 year, but I’m convinced my piercings have always healed better with a hoop. After 5 healed piercing that had hoops put in as soon as the jewelry swap could happen, I’d say I have good reason. Even an older piecing that was struggling to heal with a hoop.

They say don’t rotate your new piercing, I’m rotating it multiple times a day.

Random reflection; I am a new piercing rule breaker.
Thread of reasons why 👇🏻

I do not care, if I don’t know your number when you call me, I’m not answering. It’s simple.
It’s 2025, and scammers are getting to be too much. Leave a voicemail if you’re real.

September music insight.
Similar and yet wildly different from August.
Arrrjae’s music listens from September. Bad Omens leading at #1, Poppy at #2, Dayseeker at #3, Sleep Theory at #4, A Day to Remember at #5. Arrrjae’s top songs from September. #1 is End of You because how could it not be?! #2 is Dethrone, #3 Shapeshift, #4 Specter, #Words are Worthless. But really 2-5 are a tie because they were played the same amount of times.

My husband and I have a great dynamic; I’ll don’t touch the nasty food catcher in the sink and he always empties it because he knows I cannot make myself do it.

I found two pairs of jeans recently that fit me peeeeerfectly. And that feels fucking awesome as a tall, big hipped girl.
So I guess you can say things are going pretty great.
