I see these two as basic and extended motivation. I'm writing for myself first. I want to prove to myself that I'm capable of finishing the project.
I hope people will like it ofc (and some do!), but making the engagement the first and only concern would utterly destroy my motivation.

the pinknews article currently going around is blatant fearmongering around the resolution currently in front of the senate—this post is correct in that the resolution does NOT contain any language about banning federal funding towards trans healthcare.
i think it's worth noting that the CR that passed the House and that's currently before the Senate does *not* include the trans Hyde Amendment language - that said, obviously the House GOP is likely to try again to include it in whatever appropriations bill picks up after this CR ends in November
