Ukraine’s gas system has experienced a series of major attacks over the past week. According to Bloomberg, 60% of gas production capacities were disabled.

If the situation with ~50% lower production continues in Oct-Dec25 (at last year's consumt&import), gas storage would be depleted by March 2026.

Russia extended its gasoline export ban for another six months.

Background: In 2024 at least 10 large Russian refineries were hit by Ukrainian drones. In 2025 Ukraine attacked 27 Russian fuel and energy facilities. As a result, Russia's refining volumes fell to a 12-year low of 267 million tons.
