In America, if you are a naturally born citizen who is a veteran of the military that is worshipped with a religious like fervor, but happen to have the wrong last name or skin tone... You might get sent to a country you have no association with at all.

In most places, if you are not a born citizen, but do something good for the country - military service, an act of bravery etc- you are basically fast tracked to some kind of citizenship.

Incredibly charmed people were doing this nearly 100 years ago but I've also gotten this occassionally on my art and stories and it makes my day every time. Incredibly silly but the raw earnestness of it... one of the best compliments one can recieve imo

Do they not realize that by doing this, it doesn't mean THEY can endlessly generate new art to sell- it means everyone else can generate 'art' based off of their works for free. lmfao
