Affirmation & validation are highly necessary for survivors of gaslighting & emotional abuse in particular-- but they are only a first step, a foundation for rebuilding.

Audience culture is the worst it's ever been, I swear to god. People forgot how to act. I'm at the theater, trying to enjoy my show, which I've paid GOOD MONEY for, and these two old assholes are in the balcony heckling the life out of the poor bear onstage. Not letting him finish a single joke.

Someone on r/slowcooking was like: I take a package of turkey tenderloins and two jars of gravy and slow cook it for 5 hours on low.
Decided to give it a shot since I needed to order groceries anyways.
This is delicious if you like turkey breast, and moist too! Easy as pie for a small turkey meal.

It's all completely gone. No demons today.
Hasn't been that bad in years. Hope that was a one time fluke and they stay the fuck away. Worried it might be premenopause.
