Once again NPR ignores the denied human rights/voice of millions and millions of adoptees and focuses on the voice of so-called "policy experts" and the women exploited by this corrupt, predatory system. Birth mothers call for more government support

There are more federal tax cuts in the works for people who adopt children. Birth mothers say they also want financial support so they don't have to place their infants up for adoption.

i don’t think people understand the interconnection of the #adoption industry, child welfare systems, and the manufacturing of orphanhood. the overwhelmingly predominant cause children’s loss of family is not death but the state. most adoptees are people whose parents are dead *in law only.*

Pennsylvania lawmakers are considering a bill that would stop parental incarceration from being used as the sole reason to terminate parental rights.

When punishment extends to children, the harm doesn’t end at sentencing.
