Arrested for one reason: the color of his skin, according to reporting by multiple local media in #Portland and now in a pending lawsuit. This happened Oct. 2, 2025, in my city. And it's happening in many cities now in my country. But this is the point, isn't it? www.opb.org/article/2025...

Nights are getting shorter in #Portland, so I got in a walk in Oaks Bottom near my home. I'm happy to report no signs of war, destruction, lawlessness, or anything that might merit violations of federal law sending US military to my city as a pretext for ending our fragile democratic experiment.

For us here, in #Portland, this is not a joke, and it's terribly dangerous stuff, and our state Attorney General and others are working hard to safeguard democracy now with litigation. Also, Blackhawks have circled nightly for 2 weeks. Not good for vets/those with PTSD. www.kgw.com/article/news...

Well I always go to the WSJ to learn about cool. I doubt anyone at the WSJ can tell you who Ida Hayes is. JR Cash, or Johnny Cash, could, and he's got a song about that. Or how about "Ring of Fire," with June Carter Cash. Or "The Man Comes Around"? Too dark for cool.

And I'm sick of everyone showing social media memes of folks in costumes or fake images of things not happening in PDX. Folks, focus on what's actually happening, which is nothing, and thus calls for drastic action are premised on lies. Promoting the other stories supports the distracter in chief.
