The AI service BlueSky is using is for image/video moderation in the same way Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, and Twitter functions.

Yeah it sucks but the alternative that we were using for a short period beforehand was putting poorly paid people overseas to meticulously stare at porn, gore, child exploitation, animal abuse, warcrimes, etc.

And I’d rather there not be hundreds of living things subjected to that.
