The reason why companies are more enamored with AI as opposed to other tech trends (NFTs, crypto, the Metaverse) is due to the users ability to opt out of those scams. Because of the forced integration of AI into all manner of systems and software users are required to interact with it to a degree.

@aflcio.org I got a random DC number calling me to back an unsearchable bill (the “lower healthcare cost” act) and asserting I’m part of the AFL-CIO union (which I’m not). They then forcibly transferred me to Thom Tillis’ office without answering my questions. Are y’all running a campaign or smth?
