“Freedom of speech” is not synonymous with, and not limited to, the First Amendment. Freedom of speech is a value we can all choose to uphold in our workplaces, schools and social circles. It is in tension with other values, such as safety and decency. The government has no choice. We do.
I hope that judge who ruled that telemarketers using autodialers is permissible gets as many fucking spam calls trying to sell him $55,000 loans every day as I do.

I did the World Cup draw. No need for FIFA to do it now. (I think I got it right. Some of the continental conflicts got tricky when I got to the end of Pot 4.)

Nuremburg trials is the moderate position
He said that the agents would throw food at them to eat. The agents threatened to withhold food for a week and to beat him up if he didn't sign deportation papers. He said he saw others refuse and get beaten/receive no food. He signed because he was afraid.

I just watched the Golazo Show on several hours’ delay. Paramount Plus has really improved its interface and system over the past few years, and that has really improved my life.
