Thinking about how bsky has the most horrible setting turned on by default that says "i don't want to see any other languages except English" and if no one tells you to put it on "no selection" you straight up won't see posts from people set to different languages on your TL.

And if you feel like it's getting worse, yes, it is. Non US traffic here is minimal. And criticising it, you get "skill issue" or "it's not an echo chamber!"

That's old news (it was 3 weeks ago) but I've only just checked the outcome of the Royal Society decision in Elon Musk being a Fellow. They decided not to take disciplinary action/remove him, despite breaking the code of conduct.

This is a good reminder that culture ALWAYS trumps policy🧪🔭
