fiction is a safe space to think of unsafe things

if you feel it's messing you up, step away. don't assume it's messing everyone up and you need to eradicate it because you caught a case of the feel-bads from something. go sit with that and think about why instead of pissing in everyone else's cheerios.

"Moon Yuna (she/they, transfem) is a freelance stylist and makeup artist who regularly works with K-Pop idol groups like HUNTR/X. She is a moon rabbit, a being that was born out of people's belief in the specific mythology and culture. In my setting, the Honmoon is not a singular global phenomenon that originates from Korea.

Each place has its own mythological creatures and legends, some even being the same stories but from different lands. They also all have their own equivalent of the Honmoon, some with different functions, but they all work in harmony.

These entities are born of belief and inspiration, and their existence not only acts as a foundation for the Honmoon but as a lifeline for the lands they live on. A kitsune in Japan might be the reason why there aren't constant wildlife stampedes. A chupacabra could be why blood is running through people's veins and not coagulating over in Puerto Rico, etc.

What happens when demons find out about this? Rumors, sure. But if they are true, then they have the ability to shake the Honmoon's very foundation and watch everything that stood on it crumble and die.

Of course, all of it is easier said than done, especially when you add emotions into the mix..."
