Go paint it in the colors of the Italian flag 🇮🇹, someone will come running.
Even as someone who listens to gaming podcasts, it feels like so many titles this year I’ve heard nothing about—even those I expected to get a passing mention at minimum. Weird is the right word to me too.
Took longer to make than I planned (because I made two.. one GF), this apple crumb cake turned out lovely.
Love the Google abandonment now impacting paid devices!
What’s changing it? A monthly fee?
More curious, why would you have kept your username secret all that time?
As someone who hires for tech roles--cover letters aren't common for us. But I've talked to my non-tech peers and largely they look at cover letters to confirm solid grammar and no spelling mistakes. Lack of attention to detail is an easy way to eliminate applicants. Might not notice AI-gen.
Yeah I do my weekend rides along the river too. On my commute home yesterday it was a real pain with the unaware crowds along the Charles.
Basically every where I would normally head through is a mess.
My wife is making g sauerkraut today. The first cabbage (of two) she pulled from the garden is over ten pounds!

If “AI” did the thing, organizations would be bragging about the outcomes instead of jawing endlessly about the tools.
Also my wife is an attorney. Not in that field of law but enough that she knows the basics of what questions to ask, what details to look for in next steps.

The firefighters encouraged me that with the police report I can go get checked out at a hospital later if I feel something isn’t right.
Technically we exhanged some info, so might not count as hit and run. I have his phone number!
I’m shaky—maybe just adrenaline comedown, can’t be sure.

I don’t know enough about “accountable”—if I don’t sue it not sure if anything will happen. Suing is probably a hassle?
The cop and the firefighter who showed up all said both “it happens a lot” and “we’re surprised it doesn’t happen even MORE often”.”
It has been 0 days since I was last h it by a car while riding my bike.

Got the license plate and phone number. Guy drove off before I could get insurance details. So filed a police report to be safe.

Scraped up and shaken. No obviously broken bones.
With the wait times for the ride, I’d guess they’re about the same length!
I’d guess “none of them”
would apply, as we’d have heard about it more otherwise.
Sounds a bit too sketchy. I’m just imagining the crypto schemes…
Our PTO moved to WhatsApp for grade/class based communications, which has worked well. None of the cruft of a social platform to be involved, just focused on communication.
Ugh. I still sign in a few times a year for a local “everything is free” group, to give stuff away.

Once I stopped signing in, I started getting email notifications I never had before—FB trying to lure me back. With increasingly distant connections, probating to see what would work.
I lingered far longer than I wanted. I didn’t miss it when I deleted the app, which was the last way I signed on reflexively.
Upgraded to Windows 11 because of the support deadline. Now keyboard doesn't work right. Dropped keys, stuck keys, major lag. This should be a solved problem!
