Honest question, at what point am I allowed to just give up on all this & disappear without having to constantly prioritize everyone else’s feelings before mine because I’m about at that point.

truth is I’ve been at that point for years now but heaven forbid I make anyone uncomfy bringing that up.

I’m 35, have no meaningful skills & can’t hold down a job for longer than a 9-month average before I’m spending another 6+ months unemployed racking up even more debt just to barely survive. And nobody can help.

The only thing I can see maybe working out for me involves getting off this shithole rock but where the hell do I even go? The mainland is even more expensive & my partner can’t seem to grasp why I’m not exactly chomping at the bit to give up everything & move to a fascist dictatorship.

I can’t pay rent, I’m thousands of dollars in a debt that’s only getting deeper because I can’t pay enough of it off for it to matter, I don’t sleep anymore regardless of how many fucking drugs I take & when I do sleep, I don’t want to wake up anymore.

I’m so tired of feeling like I have to keep my guard up all the time to protect myself from disappointment and failure. I don’t make friends, I don’t even get my hopes up for the smallest things anymore because I’m terrified of fucking everything up & having to start all over again.

This is a yearly occurrence at this point. I find a job, I’m happy, my mental health improves, I start settling in & feeling like I could do the job longterm. Then the minute I start to let my guard down everything goes to shit & next thing you know, I’m unemployed again.

got inspired to try something new involving shoving a Teegle skeleton horse inside the Kelpie body and fucking with transparent textures to show off the bones. it's still hella early in the process but like
