If you have it please donate cash to the food banks. $10 in their hands will feed more people than the $10 worth of canned goods you can buy for retail prices. Also check on your elders. Many of them will not admit they rely on these programs so grocery gift cards or a surprise bag of staples

Wealthy christian churches need to be out in their communities actively helping those who will be starving. Any church that fails to do so will have proven that they are not charitable orgs, & certsinly not followers of Jesus if they claim to be Christian, & should be reclassified as a corporations.

Played outside today. A bit brisk but sunny. Canna Lily bulbs up and out worked in a bunch of compost in the soil. Used the leaves to keep everything happy through the Winter and the rest of the Fall while we are experiencing very little rain.

They have already said they and Aldi are doing $40 Thanksgiving baskets.
Walmart also sells 2 whole Purdue chickens in a pack for under $15

Today, the President said he wants to raise tariffs on Mexico. Yesterday, he said he's going to raise tariffs on Canada by 10%. He blames what he called a fraudulent ad that featured Ronald Reagan advocate- advocating for free trade. It was put up by the province of Ontario. Is this ad really the issue here, or is it just a tactic in this negotiation? Does the President want the USMCA free trade deal renegotiated, or is he looking to do two separate deals, one with Canada, one with Mexico?
