Prior authorization should be banned outright. Insurance companies have been killing their patients by refusing life saving treatments that the policy says is covered. Automating those denials is turbocharging profits and killing patients and inflicting suffering on a mass scale.

Insurance companies' prior authorization practices only cheat Minnesotans out of using benefits they pay for - and care their doctor prescribed.

Because Mike Johnson doesn't have immunity from prosecution, and Trump can pardon him, he has unlimited reasons to protect Trump from the Epstein files and Trump has a lot of leverage over him to convince him doing so is in his interests.

MAGA churches are not the only ones unprepared. Plenty of "prosperity gospel" churches in blue or purple states that aren't openly preaching fascist MAGA still aren't announcing plans for food relief in their community.

It's a bright dividing line between charlatans and genuine piety.

Atheist here: Of you've been uncomfortable with your church and have thought about leaving, here's a great reason to do so: A number of high profile "christian" congregations have so far failed to publicly announce their plans for good works around Trump refusing to pay SNAP benefits for November.

Project 2025 includes among other things the Christian Nationalist erasure of anything that suggests the empowerment of women. Female submission is part of their worldview . The East Wing that was demolished was the hub of the First Ladies’s power. They did it for that reason.
