All are so confident that violent actions against causes of global warming and biodiversity loss are not acceptable or will not have a positive effect. The persons who cause the negative effects in nature or protect those people use violence and lock you up. And they are happy that you rule it out.

No animal alive today is ‘primitive’ – why are so many still labeled that way? All species alive today, from chimpanzees to bacteria, are cousins that each have equally long lineages, rather than ancestors or descendants of one another. theconversationus.cmail20.com/t/r-l-tkktjh...

Your 'moment of doom' for Feb. 5, 2026 ~ Faster than expected is expected.

Sediment records from the Andes suggest tropical land where millions live could heat up faster than expected as greenhouse gases rise.

Our pets have a big impact on #climatechange. Dogs and cats have a substantial environmental 'paw print,' with their food consumption alone releasing the CO2e comparable to millions of cars, and consuming a significant portion of meat production resources.

Climate-smart pet ownership will be defined either by science and veterinary ethics or by marketing and denial, and the profession must choose now.

This research paper is the first time that a tipping point of a switch from a carbon sink to a carbon emission source in tropical rainforests has been identified clearly – not just for one year but for the last 20 years. Cause is a change in the local climate. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

A very entertaining dystopia, peppered with facts about climate change. Very realistic, in my opinion: people don’t change, many bad things remain—just on a smaller scale—and in many cases the wheel even turns backwards, not in a positive way. 📚👀

Klare Antwort: Ja, kann es; Ein Buch in dem Dr. Alban Erwähnung findet muss es sogar sein!

By request, here is a graph showing the 20-year running average for the global mean surface temperature for every year 1960 to 2024.

I also have included a quadratic trendline in this graph. The excellent fit of the quadratic is equivalent to accelerating warming. Warming is NOT exponential!
