On Monday, RFK posted a rambling video on the HHS X account showing a series of graphs and directly stating that vaccines have had minimal impact on human health and saving lives.

Today, in response, we brought our own graphs.

We will not let his dangerous nonsense go unanswered.

WE WON: "This case -– perhaps the most important ever to fall w/in..this district court squarely presents the issue whether non-citizens lawfully present here in US..have the same free speech rights as the rest of us. The Court answers this Constitutional question unequivocally “yes, they do.”"

Yet another thing that will completely destroy the actual existing model of 🇺🇸 higher education. The lack of loud, urgent collective action by university leaders to educate the public & generate pushback on all of these awful policies continues to be glaring.

Turkey had a vibrant political satire culture going back to Ottoman times, and one that survived the 1980 military coup and the generally awful 1990s. Official censorship and private-media self-censorship under Erdoğan destroyed much of it. Mockery of officials on TV is unimaginable today.

this is obviously a very big deal for justice & accountability in brazil. it is also a victory for the kind of rule of law & democracy jurisprudence the inter-american court/commission on human rights have been promoting for at least the last half-century.

Political violence disproportionately hurts people with less power, not people with more power. Political violence will disproportionately hurt people of color and women and LGBTQ people. It’s not fair, but that’s the way it works. Celebrating political violence means at best indifference to that.

Political violence is bad. It usually begets more political violence.

Celebrating political violence is bad. It usually encourages more political violence, against various targets.

Campus shootings are bad. They make everyone on campus less safe.

It's bad that what I wrote here is controversial.

Looking over the Epstein book messages, I'm struck by how comfortable everyone was with compiling something like this, contributing to it, and receiving it. Something most people with common sense would avoid like the plague.

But the super-rich and powerful know how insulated they are.

Ron Deibert is absolutely the voice that the infosec industry needs to be listening to right now. We are in a moment where fascism is consolidating power and most of the infosec industry is either playing along or is busy bragging about how much AI they've shoved into their products.

The 2024 election cycle saw artificial intelligence deployed by political campaigns for the very first time. Candidates largely avoided major mishaps, but the tech was used with little guidance or restraint.
