I told my mom I want to make my own jeans and asked if she could teach me to use her 35 year old sewing machine. Instead she got me a new one and a craft table to go with it 😱🤯 So I guess I have to sew more than just jeans now 🤣

Stede often thinks back on that night in the top. Unfamiliar and soft leather on his skin, warm brandy on his tongue, the smell of spiced tobacco permeating every breath. It was as if the sea had risen with them when Ed's waves caught the moonlight just right. They still do.

Progress on sweater #2! I can’t wait to see the wool magic that supposedly happens when you block it and all those weird bits where the increases happened stop being weird. I hope that’s not a myth! The wool claims to be worsted. It is not. So I went up a couple sizes in the pattern to accommodate

I was a children’s library assistant w/ full time & benefits, 3 courses away from a BA in French. I took an elective on ancient Egyptian literature & during the lecture on Ma’at I had this fated feeling I was going to be an Egyptologist. Had no idea what that meant….

So, I put it into my mind to make my own clothes after being extremely disappointed by the trash bags that qualify as clothes in stores. I asked my mom to teach me to use her sewing machine from like 1992. Instead she bought a new one and now I’m like…well I guess I’ll be sewing a lot now 😂
