The problem I have with this is not the ID stuff, I have no issue with that, its the ridiculous waste of money for something pointless. We already have NI numbers and P45 , this ID thing seems to be this government giving money to their palls just like the last one.

By law, this should lead to local restrictions on releasing Pheasants and Red-legged Partridges for shooting - but who is monitoring this? Pretty hard to do when millions of Pheasants are still under the radar because estates have failed to declare them.
