Honestly, I think that if there was a concerted effort to inform the public that all our economy consists of is us selling our houses to each other for ever increasing amounts of Australian Bank profits, we might actually be able to achieve some kind of political revolution ✊🏻
Yeah the fact there isn’t any market competition for the RBG role makes it a little strange. He will have had non-disclosure agreements up the wazoo though, pretty typical.
Isn’t it simply “gardening leave”? Doesn’t seem super fishy to me, it’s what any senior exec would get after getting hounded out, basically paid to not work anywhere else for 6 months. The amount is large but would be commensurate with his rem package.
