This one took forever, maybe ten years between writing the first verse and the second one, which is when I finally cracked what the song’s really “about.” The recording itself is special too: I got my voice and guitar to do things I didn’t think I could.

The best part of summer is that if I’m really sweaty, I can just take a cold shower. And then when I’m done, in a miracle of efficiency, I can be really sweaty again in less than a minute.
