@btrowland.bsky.social Here’s the thing, Quinn’s not stupid. He’s run that lineup out there enough times to KNOW that it doesn’t work, especially defensively. I just don’t get what he’s trying to prove.

@btrowland.bsky.social Okay Brad, time to see how much this team has really grown up. Too many times over the last few years when the whistle has gone against this team, they’ve lost focus and fallen apart. The whistle has been decidedly in Phoenix’s favor. Let’s see if they can play through it.

@btrowland.bsky.social Just a little added context to the game. Luka scored 12 points in the first quarter. He scored TEN the rest of the game. Now, to be fair, Luka missed a lot of shots, but the Hawks had a plan for him and they executed it. Teams are going to be looking at what they did.

On this date a year ago, the Pacers, Knicks and Nuggets were a combined 3-7, the Magic had a top-five offense, the Mavs had a top-five defense (and Luka), and Mike Budenholzer was off to a pretty good start in Phoenix. So, y'know: let's stay patient and careful out there.
