I remembered these cassette tapes we used to listen to every Christmas when I was a kid, when we visited my grandparents. I decided to look into it and the program is even older than I thought, 1937. But it seems like it was especially popular in Portland, OR, where my dad's family is from.

It's funny when you're looking at reviews of something and there will be people saying "this actress did a terrible job, she was awful casting, I'm not a misogynist but she brought down the whole thing," and then you watch it and she in fact does a GREAT job and it's like

It's funny when you randomly remember things that make a lot more sense in hindsight. I distinctly remember a day in middle school when I realized I'd forgotten the book I was reading at home, and I was so devastated I wrote a poem in my head about it. Definitely the undiagnosed ADHD.

Yuri where a princess is trained to be a honeypot and given a curse which will kill any man who lays with her. She's sent to marry the demon king but whoops! the demon king has transitioned and is much much happier as the demon queen. Also extremely cute which is awkward for the princess.
