My strategy for ordering a drink at a bar at age 37 when on a date with my husband (while we have a sitter for our human child) is similar to my strategy for ordering drinks in my early 20s which is “what is going to get me drunk fastest.” In my 20s bc $ in my 30s bc time.

Does anyone know why my local Mexican joint painted a mural of 2 Korean e-sports players on the back of their building?? Genuinely asking. Before this it was a famous mariachi singer and before that La Catrina. I am so confused.

If you're under the age of 50, there's a pretty good chance that Geraldine Laybourne, Betty Cohen, and Linda Simensky build up a foundation of your childhood since they were architects behind channels like Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, and PBS Kids, bringing in a lot of genre shows.

It’s hilarious to me that the Vegas season of Fallout was shot in North Hollywood. North Hollywood absolutely does seem like a post-apocalyptic Las Vegas.

Whenever I don’t get something I want I do this thought exercise where I think of a long list of people who are even more amazing than me who also didn’t get this specific thing that I wanted (whether or not these other people also wanted the thing). It always makes me feel better.

My friend is watching my dogs while my family is out of town and he sent me a concerned text about my dog Lanna’s poop this morning being weird. I thought for sure she got into her treats, but the bag was in tact. As he was leaving, my friend found FIVE wrappers tucked into the couch. So sneaky!!

Was worried my 14-year-old dog, who does have some major GI tract health issues, was starting to refuse food and would waste away. It turns out he’s just being picky and decided the food he has been eating for 5+ years is gross & if I add some ground beef to the top he’ll eat it all up no problem 🫠
