Can anyone recommend any good books for a teenager who has just had an ASD diagnosis? She is academically quite able and doesn’t want “ones for kids”…

Spreadsheets this week across key stage 3, data collection and data handling is so important today for our young people! Budgeting, graphs, and even some data collection of their own!

Year 9 parents evening tonight, 2 hours in a busy, warm room with 4 min appointments to discuss progress… not totally sure parents evenings like this do what they should, but this seems to be a very common model in secondary schools!

Week 4 back at school, shattered. Getting the basics right on the kids digital skills - logging in, saving with file names, remembering on a presentation sometimes less is best!

This week has been up and down - at least in terms of our WiFi in school, always an adventure teaching digital skills when you aren’t sure if the devices will work!!! But some great learning around digital resilience and how generative AI uses your data! (Good thing oracy is a focus for us!)
