A fox trotted down the Scoville Point Trail and poked around in the brush following a scent. No one else on the trail so quite the treat.

It's a hike. Only one mile to the lake if you hop the boat. Otherwise, 3 miles to the lake. This photo is shot up higher from the Grinnell Glacier Trail which is 5.5. miles one way. #parkchat

Hahaha! Hilarious observation. But yes...something in the antifreeze drippings appeals to them. Probably something slightly salty as they also lick the railings at Logan Pass that everyone's sweaty hands touch and also lick spots where people pee on the sides of trails. Salt-deprived. #parkchat

A5 We see habituated goats every summer in the Logan Pass parking lot...slurping antifreeze. Glacier has a bark ranger that herds them out of the parking lot and into the meadows. But she doesn't work every day. #parkchat
