I am convinced that the main reason people left Twitter for Bluesky is THEY wanted to be the irredeemable bullies instead of being the bullies. I’ve seen this happen on other Twitter alternatives too.

Or to put it another way: Americans gonna American.
And it's pretty much impossible for me to talk about the wrestling I like without getting accused of being a MAGA chud *and* a big pretentious monster who is being mean to everyone's favourite billionaire bestie.

Reupping Sarah's article now that I've seen the show:

I thought Shane was one of the best portrayals of an autistic person in media ever. Nothing was cliched. The quiet moments worked. The "obvious autistic" moments and characteristics aren't called out for attention.

It's a really good show.

One for the history books. Canada, it’s our time to play. 🏀

The Toronto Tempo 2026 inaugural season schedule is here and we couldn’t just drop it, we had to build it. We've teamed up with our friends LEGO Canada to create something special.

Americans have gotten so used to invading countries that their government has already invaded one country and is threatening 2 more including Canada and its crickets. Well, not crickets. They tell us to shut up and stop talking about it.

things that have probably been discussed a million times: how come everyone in movies and tv have Zippo lighters? Why doesn't anyone have regular Bic lighters? In real life the % of people with Zippo style lighters is an extremely small portion of the lighter carrying population?

I never thought I would see the day when I found some respect for the literal dumbest Canadians who managed to drive across the 2nd largest country in the world in the middle of winter, shut down our capital for a month and stop over 3 billion $ of goods from crossing the border (this is a subskeet)

People sleep on how hard Degrassi: The Next Generation goes right from the jump

“Ok, so we introduce some old favourites like Spike and Joey. A little Zit Remedy nostalgia and then boom - a guy with Pizza Pizza videotapes his attempted rape of a 12 year old. Instant hit.”

The fifth verse of “O Come All Ye Faithful” has the lyrics “word of the Father” but I still sing it in my head the way I did as a teenager as an ode to our lord and saviour Vanilla Ice, “word to your mother”

Holiday dinner pro tip:

No one actually likes squash. Save yourself the time and effort. They’d be happier with another scoop of mashed potatoes. If people loved squash they’d be eating squash like motherfuckers year round but they don’t.

I’m in a spectacularly bad mood so this is hitting at the worst time but I have no clearer way to say it: fuck this company. Your choices are literally “occasionally do too much flippy shit” or “actively in bed with fascism”. I’m sorry if years of Fed propaganda have rotted your brains but cmon.

Just saw video of Unrivalled practice of Paige and Malonga running pick and roll finishing with a lob dunk to Malonga and that is going to be so fun.

I have just 8 movies to watch to hit 400 for the year, so I think I need to pick something ahead of time for number 400.
Do I go with an old favourite? An all time classic? Something terrible?

This is clearly focused on the influencer-class, not the average user since the avg user doesn't use professional/creator accounts

Companies have already had organic reach killed by Meta and have to spend on ads to get seen.

FB just wants to get a piece of that sweet influencer paid-post money.
