I appear to have gained a few hundred followers as a result of being part of an autism starter pack, so maybe now is a good time to do some kind of introduction to my life and work in that realm.

Hi! I'm an autistic writer who covers autism, pop culture and the middle of that Venn diagram.
Uta Takami and Mizuki are perfect together.

Imagine trying to explain to someone who started watching TJPW yesterday that Kamiyu used to come out to Old MacDonald Had A Farm while wearing Daisy Dukes.

Wow, I totally missed the short hair supremacy phase! (I need longer hair! That's my stim!)

I do recall when autistic women would NEVER dye their hair bright colours, though, because I got some essays about what I was doing wrong.

That scene! I’m glad you’re enjoying it. I have common people BritBox, so I only get the first two episodes now but I can’t wait to see where this goes.

Christopher, it's your own damned fault for wearing a mall rat's best necklace from 1996 in the middle of a hand to hand combat situation.

Not at all! They make all of these reels about how little autistic people care for neurotypical hierarchy until it's this one.

Other Charisma classic insecure teen girlisms include making funny faces when your allegedly hotter friends are doing sexy photos and wearing t-shirts where most people don't (pools, wrestling rings, etc.).

Hey, want to see terrible quality footage of me on Celebrity Fit Club?

That's a really good point. (And that hair was starting to look uncomfortably fried, anyway.) But yeah, end of an era.

I was just talking to my friend about my theory that a certain kind of woman loves Charisma because he does a lot of things we remember from our time as insecure teenage girls.

And now we have this perfect example of hiding behind the hair curtain.

I had a feeling this would happen after he retired and I hate being right.

And maybe I'm a little jealous.

She deserves it! And I'm glad she's getting it, because she is not built for my life at all. I just didn't know it was possible.

My mom's hockey account on Instagram is getting a bump in attention again and it continues to astound me, a scarred writer from the trenches of 2000-present day online outlets, that people can be this kind to someone on the internet.

I can't tell you how excited I am to see the words Peach Berserk appear on my timeline. Nostalgia and outrageous fashion indeed.

Harming the community by being born with a certain bone structure!

Yes! There’s an awful lot that the autistic people who are really hung up on being conventionally attractive aren’t unpacking.
January 17, 2026 at 2:02 AM
Someone else replied that I'm not ugly, but if I were, then yes, I would be perpetuating harmful stereotypes about autistic people.
January 17, 2026 at 1:00 AM
Oh my god. I hadn't even considered that and now I need it.
