I’m making the very difficult decision to close my shop by the end of the year. Rising manufacturing costs, and our current economic climate, have made it hard financially. And I don’t want to have to keep raising my prices to match it.

Chandelure 🕯 Pumpkaboo 🎃 Duskull 💀

Thank you! My department picked TNBC for our theme and I chose one of the vampires. They have similar umbrellas so I knew I had to make something inspired by it! (The ears are just cheapo looking ones though, haha)

Played around with a vampire makeup idea for Halloween at work, but I’ll probably change it up! I want to get better coverage over my eyebrows next time.

Please admire my umbrella, it’s the best part of the costume.

I don’t scare easily in games but what does scare me? Small dark corridors, mannequin movements, and dolls.

Last year I started making goals for books to read in a year. I started with 12, and I think my original goal this year was 13 but then I upped it to 20. I know I’m going to go over that.

I’ve had a to-read list that’s never ending and I pick from it depending on my mood/availability at my library

I’ve read 18 books so far this year, which is up from last year! It’s been nice getting back into books. Although I have a problem with starting like 10, and not finishing them one at a time.

Random life updates: I listened to an audiobook I loved so much, I bought a fancy physical copy.

Got a lafufu I had to sew/put together myself. I plan on repainting the face as a fun DIY project!

Hurt my arm last week because I’m over 30 and that shit just happens I guess.
