Lawyer. Not your lawyer. The vessel is, so to speak, "snarked."
I think he says he sees no basis at all for the claim of privilege, but also I think you're right about his view of the work product argument.

Rakoff also makes it pretty clear the material wasn't privileged in the first place.

Very wise!

As you correctly point out, this is just a silly argument by Defendant. But you're right that it's *adjacent* to some interesting stuff! See:

Actual footage of Vince Guaraldi performing "Linus and Lucy". I'm gobsmacked that this exists, but utterly thrilled too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EMf...

Age verification? I got drunk (almost legally) last time the Mets won the World Series. (Paradoxically, if they had won a year earlier, I would have been legal.)

This endorsement means so much to me. Jerry Nadler has set an incredibly high bar for decades for smart, principled, progressive leadership on issue after issue. I’m honored beyond

I have basically zero sympathy at this point for U.S. gov't lawyers who are complaining about the burdens of defending the indefensible. There is a choice. Stop defending it.

Actually, in fairness, they claim WestCheck can still do quote checking and Bluebooking.

Westlaw has a tool that auto-generates your TOA (which predates AI) and does a passable job. It baffles me that they can't take the extra step adding simple quote-checking. I guess it's not a priority because it doesn't require AI.
