Man I just wanted to play Tekken 8 tonight to try and git gud but it’s been two months so OF COURSE there is an 8 gb update that my shitty internet is taking FOREVER to download so I am playing ALAN WAKE remastered, DRINKING, and CAPITALIZING stuff for DRAMATIC EFFECT

I'm both relieved and a bit upset that Bladerunner was wrong about how our world was supposed to look like 6 years ago.
Also our robots look nothing like Rutger Hauer, so unfair.
BTW Rutger died in 2019.

I just wanna say officially that I am sad to break up with game pass. It was a great idea to start off and did get me to go with the series X over the PS5 at first. The enshitification of the service was perhaps predictable but this will not help Xbox as the underdog of the videogame industry

Now that I have broken up with game pass, I decided to play things that have been sitting on my queue, starting with: 🎮 - Alan Wake (remastered) on Xbox. Perfect creepy game for the season, plus visually it really holds up to the years well. I am also loving the story so far!

Dude this game riffs off Hades so hard but it’s still pretty good. Dunno if it’s worth purchasing (for me) but still a very fun and well made rogue lite

I’m playing through everything I thought looked fun and added to my game pass queue on a whim, right now it’s “To a T” about being a 13 year old who can’t lower their arms and there is a singing giraffe who runs the sandwich shop. Definitely super cozy and weird

They are in most ways better than the show, though I do praise the show for at least getting the whole aesthetic of the ASoIaF world pretty down pat. also house Greyjoy is actually kinda badass in the books (Victarion ftw)

Ok, I had to turn the difficulty to easy mid boss fight to beat the final boss cause damn that was brutal but holy shit- HI-FI RUSH! is beautifully made w/ innovative rhythm-combat, making it a gem in this era of re-makes & clones. (I just smh that Microsoft closed this studio 😂) play this!!

Alright Bluesky, I am at the final boss in Hi-Fi Rush on series X since I want to beat it before my game pass runs out. And that shit is kinda hard/I’m kinda high/it’s late so I am putting the controller down & going to bed, it was a successful day. I’ll attack it in the morning!

I mean I’m not above admitting that spider man movie made me cry like three times. Plus the animation’s comic-book aesthetic flair was a feast for the eyes. I am glad kingpin was the tragic villain (always love him in DareDevil too) ps they need to have him and spidey cross over more, cmon
