This is what I said earlier this week. Trump and MAGA want to bash heads on the 18th. I don't think the protest was THE pretext for the deployments, but they certainly think they're going to get some propaganda value out of any unrest.

As soon as the hostages Hamas is holding are release, I'm betting Bibi goes back to bombing Gaza. He's only in power because he's suspended elections due to a declared emergency. If he doesn't continue his genocide, he can't maintain the emergency.
