My hot take: I wish there was heavy narration

M&C is best when it feels like a fly-on-the-wall doc filled w/ nautical realism and interpersonal relationships. That suffers when characters are forced to give expo/context.

Let them be real; give me a gruff tar explaining the times and the sea in VO.

The CWC was fifa gouging the most excited fans for ridiculous prices on the worst tickets in the house, and then when not enough people went for that, they opened up much better tickets for cheaper.

That’s the complete opposite of selling out the lower bowl and then opening additional seats.

He finally stands as if to respond… and then the phone rings and he answers that instead. Never addresses the accusation, just heads out.
