Sci-fi isn't always my favourite genre if I'm honest, but there are a couple I love. Would you recommend Mothership for someone who doesn't necessarily have a whole lot of general sci-fi knowledge?
I do like horror though, and I know it kind of crosses genre.
I played a True Brujah once, and that was pretty cool. I think my favourite will always be Tzimisce though. I just love them!
Bless him, he's probably just a bit chilly 😂
I find I get a lot of inspiration from books I read. Maybe an idea for an NPC to drop in, or a fun location for them to find.

Also, I sometimes work in reverse. I look at the end goal and plan backwards from there. That can help with working out where to plant clues etc for them, too.
If you want a really, really big giant, the ones from @manticgames.bsky.social Kings of War are incredible.
I painted the frost giant a couple of years ago and it's still one of my most favourite models.
@d20plusmodifier.bsky.social hello!

As an illustrator, what's the one #rpg you would have loved to work on?
I feel that! I'm afflicted the same way. I seem to have particular anxiety over noises at the moment. I lay awake at night waiting to prowl around investigating every little sound in case something is broken or leaking or possibly disturbing the neighbours, etc. It's exhausting.
@juhanaonparas.bsky.social hi!

If you absolutely had to choose, which WoD Vampire clan is your favourite, and which would you get rid of completely?
@alisoncybe.bsky.social hello!
As both a horror and #ttrpg writer, which famous movie monster/horror character would you most like to write a #rpg about?
Thank you! It was really fun to write! 😊
Oooooh how about comic book style?
It can look so cool!

And a load of spikes on the ground just waiting to impale you 😂

It's so hard not to take it personally, too, when you put your heart and soul into your stuff. I really need to work on growing a thicker skin ready for my game releasing in November.
Hi!
Oh, its pretty much abject terror for me 😂
Thank you! 😊
Yeah, my brain lost its brake pedal I think 😂😂
I really enjoyed that. A nice bit of joyful escapism.
Why has my stupid brain decided that adding a 3rd project to the 2 I'm already working on is a good idea?

So now I've got 1 #boardgame, 1 #ttrpg and 1 #novel on the go.

Send coffee. Oooooh and biscuits.
Castles are great.
Scarborough is my local castle too! Pretty much only have to cross the road from my house to see it.
That sounds right up my street. I'll have to check it out.
Thank you so much!
I'm absolutely terrified 😂😂
For me, I get a first line in my head and the whole concept unravels from there (I tend to write little intro stories for my games).
I also like a table of contents to arrange my thoughts and plan a flow to the idea.
Oh for sure.
That's the beauty of boardgames - there really is something for everyone. And there's room for everyone's ideas. It's such a great industry with a wonderful sense of community.
And that's perfect for making it re-playable. If it's the same experience every time you play, it can mean it gets played less. I know I tend to choose games with more variables when I play.
