Currently very nervous, and cautious about the world and its trajectory! From the US especially, to the far right in the UK and mainland Europe. I sound a pessimistic serious individual. Damn it!
Amen to that!!
Brexit: “The most dishonest campaign in our history said it would save us £350m a week, but Brexit actually cost us £250m a day in 2025. That is why we have the highest taxes ever, that is why we have sky-high bills, that is why we have a cost of living crisis” @eddavey.libdems.org.uk

As an individual, Farage is vile and hateful. However, due to his rhetoric and oratory skills: plus a large slice of public gullibility, he’s able to convince others of the same self-righteous indignation.

The next line up of Question Time: “The panel tonight consists of a Labour & Conservative MP. Jeremy Corbyn from Your Party: Zach Polanski and Ed Davey who are both respected leaders of their party and Fred; who cleans the toilets of Reform HQ.

I read this when it was first posted 23 mins ago and I’ve just stopped laughing. Thanks. I needed that!!
With Pool and ManCity out of the way, and with Arsenal due to fade in new year as they always do, the path is now clear for a Spurs PL title win.

It’s inevitable now.

“When the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was built, U2’s acoustic experts were appointed to help design a roof that would keep the noise in. In practical terms, this means Tottenham supporters are now able to boo even more loudly than before.”
Great article, Kat Lucas, that sums up Spurs’ fans perfectly!

Tells you everything you needed to know of Johnson’s gov’t. They gaslighted us by saying how brilliant they did and how Brexit ensured we acted expeditiously and not constrained by EU bureaucrats. TOTAL BOLLOCKS.
So, #r4today reports on the Covid inquiry and the “too little, too late” Tory govt, then says they’ll be talking to *Lord* Gove about it. Ugh.
That just sums up so much that’s so very wrong with our politics and media.
Rewarding, rather than punishing, those responsible for failing us all.

Seeing the AB’s performing the Haka last Saturday, with the crowd firing out the rugby anthem, “Sweet Chariots”.There was a time the crowd would have been quiet and welcomed the theatrics. But now, like myself, we’re all bored with it and tend to respond in kind. It isn’t disrespect, it’s bring it on
November 18, 2025 at 1:52 PM
And there you have it folks. THEY DON’T CARE. The release of the Epstein files will not bring the house of Trump down. Perhaps that’s why he’s now calling their bluff and wanting the files released. The photo of this sick moron speaks volumes. Us old folk need to die out!!

I find Truss absolutely pointless. Her rhetoric is that of a wannabe somebody who is so far past her sell-buy date, she makes a wizened lettuce appear relevant. I could almost feel a sense of pity, if only, to quietly put her out to pasture, but then I wake and realise she isn’t even worth that!!
There is something that needs to be put out of its misery, love, and it’s not the BBC…

I’m somewhat surprised that Alice Thomson isn’t trying to talk more street, seeing as she is attempting to address the kids. What a condescending journalist she truly is. Yet, we are all suppose to marvel at faragenomics!
And today it's the turn of The Times to try and patronise us all.

Every single day the right wing establishment tries to close ranks.

And every day we are growing.

He cannot help himself. Relating to the BBC, he’s literally biting off the hand that’s fed him and his vile policies for years.
The CURRENT sitting MP for Clacton earns £511,000 as a presenter for GB News and took £281,000 as a brand ambassador for Direct Bullion.

So maybe sit this one out, you rancid herring.

And yet, here we are.
agreeing to make a terrible deal while your main opponent is quite literally being boo'd on live tv by an entire stadium of people is the kind of political instinct you'd normally only find in a 3 week old dead goldfish

Kuenssberg is to non-partisan reporting as Johnson was to integrity or Farage to truth! Her style of journalistic interviewing is so obviously flawed, you wonder how she keeps her job. Ah, hang on, turns out the beeb is not so lefty woke as our billionaires and fascist media will have us all believe

Ffs Arsenal fans, you dropped 2 pts to a very good side with an amazing home record this season. Deal with it. The club over-analyse it by the players having their meeting and moan: the hoardings were too close to pitch, the ball was too round, blah blah. This is why you’re so hated! MOVE ON!!!!!

60% of the British public agree: our voting system is not fit for purpose.

“Hardly any of the newly-elected Reform councillors had experience of local government…a surprising number list no other source of income at all – they are not retirees but people of working age. They found themselves overseeing a council budget of £2.6bn.”

I said the same about Katie Lam, the Tory MP, with her xenophobic quote and I say now: I was blissfully unaware of Lam and Pochin until their infamous mouthes decided to spout hatred, but I’ve heard of them now. Therefore, mission accomplished on their part. Well done on being the pantomime villain.
Also, I wonder (but not that much because I think we all know the answer) how much her inherent racism might have come into play when the person in the dock wasn’t white and what impact that had on guilty verdicts and sentencing?
Those are stats I’d be very interested in looking at.
Fun Fact - Sarah Pochin was a magistrate for 30 years in Cheshire

I imagine she got mad seeing Blacks & Asians in her court & wouldn’t be surprised if they got 5 years for speeding but whites probs a caution

She was reprimanded in 2018 by the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office for misconduct❗️🥴

Unfortunately, we are a racist nation. The Brexit vote proved that, and our country’s mood as it frog-marches toward fascism is evidence enough. A vast majority are never happier unless they can channel hatred in the form of aggressive hostility towards a sector of humanity. It’s totally shameful.
Just hoping that one day soon, people will tire of targeting and terrifying asylum seekers and instead, they will turn on politicians who whip up hatred and division to grab at power for themselves…
They are the ones who are failing us.
Not these people.
Prejudice can never make anyone’s life better
Asylum seekers, housed in hotels in Manchester, are reaching out in their own words to address the concerns of the local community.

Please take a minute to read their letter, & share it with the people in your life who need to hear the truth about the people they are protesting.

You can say all you want about how tight second is, it’s the fascists that are miles in front and that’s the worrying trend. For a nation stating 60+% of the populous do not want Farage in No10, it’s sure as hell worrying!!!
